Contracts
Review Required. Review Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Medical Director contracts. If these documents contain a "Compliance with Laws" section that specifically cites Texas Health and Safety Code §401.516(b) or (c), execute a simple amendment to remove these references to avoid contractual ambiguity.
Hiring/Training
No Change. Current certification requirements for Laser Hair Removal Professionals, Senior Technicians, and Technicians remain in full force. No new training modules are required.
Reporting & Record-Keeping
Reduction in Scope. The law repeals Sections 401.516(b) and (c). You must audit your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance manuals. If your facility generates internal reports or checklists based specifically on these subsections, discontinue them effective September 1, 2025.
Fees & Costs
No Impact. There are no new state fees, licensure cost increases, or required capital expenditures associated with this bill.
