Contracts

• Radiologist Agreements: Employment and contractor agreements must mandate the use of standard BI-RADS density terminology (e.g., "heterogeneously dense") in dictation. Non-standard dictation will break the automation logic and result in non-compliant patient letters.

Hiring/Training

• Front-Line Staff: Receptionists and technicians must be trained on the new language before September. The new "Dense" notification explicitly mentions cancer risk and additional testing; staff must be prepared to de-escalate patient anxiety and direct clinical questions to the provider.
